Links are all available in my most recent support ticket. I cant post the links to the github/youtube/website due to forum post rules but they can be found easily via google or I can provide them directly via any means. It costs a fair bit to run that many accounts, importantly I am only trying to improve the gameplay/usability when running multiple clients and would appreciate a Blizz response. If i started using it and Bliz decides it is no longer allowed would there be some kind of warning so I could stop prior to account actions? Blizzard is taking another swing at sorting out multiboxing in World of Warcraft.Last year, the developer updated its policy on input broadcasting software before taking action against people. The software is completely open source, after review you can tell it isn’t doing any broadcasting, it doesn’t hook or intercept the WOW process in any way. Back in November, Blizzard made input broadcasting software an actionable offense, meaning that if you were using software that took your keystrokes and sent them to more than one World of Warcraft character at the same time software that makes multiboxing much, much easier, to be clear you could be banned for it.
Main features Window Layout wizard and manual tweaking get your game windows exactly how you want them to be to play. No action / keypress is taken to switch the focus.
While Focus Follows Mouse is not input broadcasting, it is automated input. He doesn’t even really explain why this is complient, big red flag. Sounds like software making multiboxing easier, thus bannable. I initially reached out to GM’s who said to post here for developer visibility. WowOpenBox (WOB) is optimized to be the safest and best solution for Blizzard’s World of Warcraft but can also be use to manage multiple windows of other applications or games). Open Source World of Warcraft rules compliant multiboxing. The software claims to comply with the new rules and DOES NOT do any broadcasting or sending input to game clients, it only manages where windows are displayed and which window is in focus.
I came across some software called Wow Open Box which helps with window management, it organizes your windows and lets you use a key to switch between them. I do so with out the aid of any software.
